The concept of beauty is usually associated with the harmonious, divine, or perfect. Living flowers are beautiful until they wilt. Death frightens us, what is alive seems beautiful to us. But the essence of wilted flowers does not change. It is merely the process of life's transformation. Everything in life undergoes changes over time. A woman's body is beautiful in her youth, but also in her maturity and in her old age. The body changes, transforms, but its essence remains the same.
What is influenced by time is generally considered imperfect. Nonetheless, I find beauty in this process of transformation.
My work is a tribute to imperfection. Everything has its own story. Flowers represent life, birth, and death. Everything in our world undergoes this process of transformation. Nothing remains the same.
What is beauty, and why is it deified by people?
